Makari de Suisse Anti-UV Whitening Cream- Review

Hi everyone,

I have reviewed many products from Makari De Suisse. Almost all the products except their soap, have proved to be great and true on their value of cost. Today I’m going to evaluate about another product of this brand. Monsoon is on its climax and after that just within two months the cold winters will start. In the chilled weather, the most comfortable thought that comes into the mind is sitting in under the sun. But there is always a fear of some of the harmful sun rays of the sun. But if we apply a good sunscreen on our face and the parts that are exposed to the sun, we can save our skin from the damaging sun rays and enjoy the warm sunlight as well. Today I’m going to introduce you to an anti-UV sunscreen from Makari De Suisse which is going to prove a good sunscreen especially for winters.

Makari Anti-UV Whitening Cream

This is sunscreen lotion + whitening cream which saves from the damaging sunrays and evens out the skin if it has dark patches on it.

What it claims

A sunscreen and clearing cream to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays, while preventing the formation of an uneven tan and maintaining a clear complexion. SPF 20 & This product is suitable for all skin types.

How to apply

Apply thin layer to cleansed face, avoid eye area, prior to applying make-up.

Net weight

100 ml

Price

Rs 3000

Packaging

Very classy and elegant which is a specialty of most of the Makari products. The product comes in a transparent slim pump out bottle with a golden cap which looks very beautiful. It is very handy and so comfortable to carry out for traveling.

In the mirror of my own experience

This sunscreen has a pretty unique smell which may or may not prove to be pleasant for everyone...but as far as I am concerned, the smell is quite good! Now onto the product- The cream is something like a tinted foundation in texture but of course it doesn't work like one. It has SPF 20 which is not much but still satisfactory. The product is quite heavy so is not suitable for oily skin at all but as far as normal-combination skin is concerned like my own in these monsoons, only a little amount is required otherwise it can make the skin greasy. but this has also proven to be a positive point as it did not dry out my skin & protected the face for almost the whole day. So the thing is that you need to be careful about the amount of product you'll be using according to your skin-type.

But for winters when my skin becomes super dry this will surely prove to be a very essential product in my skin care routine.

Good points

Stays on for very long & provides protection to the skin.

Good for normal-dry skin.

Has a pleasant smell!

Little amount is required to cover the whole face & neck.

Love the packaging....very handy too.

Bad points

Very heavy for combination-oily skin type. Even for normal skin, not suitable to use in the humid weather.

Low SPF.

Quite pricey as I don't feel that the product is as impressive as the Whitening Milk.

Gives a tanny look if the right amount is not used.

Rating

3.50\5

Finally....

So finally I would say that I'm not much impressed by this product right now but I hope that it's gonna be a really useful sunscreen for winters. I would not recommend it for oily, combo or normal skin but dry skinned people should surely give it a try as for them the texture & consistency is just perfect.

So which sunscreen are you loving in summers & winters???
