Biotique Fresh Nourishing Conditioner

Hi everyone,

Today I’m reviewing Biotique Bio Watercress Fresh nourishing conditioner which I bought around a month ago.

I had been using L’Oreal conditioner before it but due to a bit of hair falling, I wanted to try some other conditioner too.

What Watercress Fresh nourishing conditioner claims-

This nourishing formula silkens and strengthens hair for healthy- looking body and shine. Keeps color and perm in place. Protects hair against environmental dryness and damage.

Major Ingredients:

Neem (Azairachta indica) 2.0%, Gajar (Daucus carota) 2.0%, Ghrit kumari (Aloevera barbadensis) 2.0%, Kheera (Cucumis sativus) 2.0%, Bizora Nimbu (Citrus medica) 2.0%, Pudina (Mentha arvensis) 2.0%, Jav (Hordeum vulgare) 2.0%, Bihidana (Pyrus cydonia) 5.0%, Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum) 2.0%, Ankurit gehun (triticum vulgare germinate) 2.0%, Himalayan water Q.S.

How to use-

Apply liberally to wet, cleansed hair and massage in gently. Leave on for one minute. Rinse well with water.

Price- Rs 159

My experience-

My hair feels a bit dry in winter. I haven’t ever colored my hair but I know that the conditioners which are made for colored or permed hair are usually good for dry hair so I chose this one.

After applying it when I washed my hair after 3-4 minutes, I was disappointed because I didn’t feel any smoothness in my hair. But after sometimes when my hair became dry and I combed it, I felt my hair quite smooth and shiny.

What I like in this conditioner?

I like its lovely smell. This smell makes me happy after drying my hair too.

It has a gel based texture. You have to take it out from the bottle on to your palm and rub before applying.

Although I didn’t feel any difference after washing it but love the effect it gives after an hour or so when my hair dries up.

It makes my hair smooth and silky.

I can feel a clear difference in my hair after one months use.

I don’t know that it’ll be effective on colored or premed hair coz my hair are not colored or so.

It’s a herbal product so I’m sure that it’ll not harm my hair.

The price is reasonable.

What I don’t like in this product?

As this conditioner is gel based so a big quantity is required to cover the whole of my hair.

This is not a pump out bottle so it’s difficult to take out required quantity. There is always a risk of too much coming out.

Although the price is quite reasonable but as far as quantity is concerned, and the rate at which it finishes so quickly it should be even less.

Rating-

3.25/5

Will I buy it again?

Nice product but there much better conditioners in the market so I’ll try others too.

Will I recommend it?

Hmm no, because I’m not fully satisfied so I can’t recommend it to others but if you are a fan of Biotique’s products, you can try it.

So have you tried this conditioner? Which ones are you using these days?

Programmed Vaccines - The new terror coming to our children

Millions of gallons of oil, corexit, oil plume, well head, BOP are terms we heard after there was an explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig this past Spring. Soon after, we saw visions on the evening news how the gulf was being affected, not only sealife but also animals that lived on the shore & the people who made their living off the gulf. BP & the government quickly set up a trust fund to help those residents to recoup their losses due to the loss of income since the gulf food wasn't edible & the loss of tourism because the tourists were scared away from the gulf area. Unfortunately red tape is making it almost impossible for those affected to coup their losses.

But, what else happened in the gulf during this time? We heard about corexit being dumped into the gulf to take care of the oil. What was "eating" the oil? There is an algae that eats oil but its not found in the gulf area. So what caused the oil to "disappear"? The answer is a scary one - programmed synthetic bacteria. This bacteria was programmed to "eat" the oil. This bacteria is also eating steel. It found its way into the stream that circulates around the world & is now eating the Titanic. The story about the Titanic being eaten away was on the NBC nightly news just a few weeks ago.

Now the company, Synthetic Genomics, has teamed up with Novartis to synthetically make vaccines to cut down on vaccine production time. The "vaccine" will be programmed for specific illnesses & diseases. Wait a minute, the synthetic bacteria was programmed just to eat the oil in the gulf but is now eating away steel & now they want to inject this synthetic bacteria into people with the goal that it will kill of bugs quicker? Am I the only one that sees the danger in this? What is going to keep this bug from attacking the good bacteria in our bodies? What happens if we take probiotics? Will this synthetic vaccine attack that?

This is a very scary prospect.

Now keep in mind, a computer will be "programming" these vaccines. Those of us who spend any time on the internet know that our computers can get viruses, spyware, adware & Malware from surfing the internet. What will keep these vaccines from getting a "virus" that will cause the bug to hiccup or cause it to do things that it shouldn't be doing?

As I was listening to Mary Tocco last Saturday afternoon on Republic Broadcasting from 2-4 pm, she had an expert on there that was talking about a vaccine chip being injected into a person that would release a vaccine over a period of time, years perhaps. This vaccine chip would destroy the immune system so that you would have to rely on vaccines & other medicines for the rest of your life in order to remain well. Big pharma wants us to be dependent on them from cradle to grave. This becomes more apparent every day.

October 7th. of last year Synthetic Genomics & Novartis signed a deal to apply synthetic engineering to the development of vaccines. Synthetic Genomics would have a seed bank that would be the starter seeds for the basis of vaccines every year. Currently, vaccine developers rely on the WHO to tell them which strain of flu is going to be circulating the coming winter. (How do they know this??) Then vaccine developers go into production of producing the flu vaccine that are sold to the public. With a seed bank, this production time would be cut by 2 months. Reverse vaccinology is genomics way of finding "new" targets for vaccines than traditional methods. The thought behind this is that universal vaccines could be developed to target a broader ranger of illnesses.

Novartis is the 5th largest vaccine developer & the 2nd largest supplier of vaccines to the U.S. This will most likely push them to the top. Big pharma has an of income of 1 BILLION a year. Synthetic vaccines with a much shorter development time will push this income even higher.

I have to wonder about the preservatives that will be used in these vaccines that will support these "synthetic" vaccines for a longer shelf life. Will they include the same preservatives that we see today. (ex. thimerosal, aluminum, formaldehyde, antifreeze, etc.) Or will there be even more toxic toxins in them?

I will continue to keep an eye on this developing story. This could lead to some very scary outcomes for everyone who has bought into the fallacy that health comes from a needle. Please pass this story onto others, link to it, tell others when you are talking in everyday life. I'm sure there is much more going on than what we are hearing about in the mainstream media & on the internet. Even the most seasoned researchers can't find the most elusive stories.

Have a great week,
Lori

Mac And MC Mehr lipstick- Review and swatches

Hi pretty ladies

So today I’m going to write a review on my second lipstick Mehr from the Mac and Mickey Contractor range.

Mac and Mickey Contractor’s Mehr Lipstick-

This lipstick is liked everywhere. I think it has become even more popular than Gulabi, Mocha and Yash.

I have already written about the packaging so here I’ll only tell about the shade and quality.

Price- Rs 990

The shade-

MAC website says, it’s a blue pink that is ‘dirtier’ that their permanent, similar matte lighter blue pink lipsticks.’ Dirtier Pink’…hmmm… in my opinion it’s a dull pink with a brown base…hmmm brownish pink..ohhh It’s hard to explain the tone of this lipstick, leave it, you can see the shade in the swatches.

My friends told me that it’ll be best for medium skin tone but I think it’s perfect for all skin tones and I really really love it.

Why I love this lip color-

It’s the prettiest shade which I have till now.

I haven’t applied this on my lips till then but I’m really excited about it.

The texture of this lipstick is matte but after applying on my hand, I found it quite moisturizing. Maybe some girls need a lip balm on their lips before applying it but not for me as my lips are not often dry.

You can wear this shade with any colored dress.

It looks great- very subtle for day wear.

It gives your lips a natural finish and feels light and smooth.

No doubt, the lasting power will be about 6-7 hours.

Here are the swatches:

In bright light:

Why should you stay away from this lippie-?

If your lips are dry, you should avoid or use a good lip balm before applying it.

If you always wear traditional shades, stay away.

Of course the price.

Rating- 4.75/5

No doubt, it’s an amazing lip color.

So Finally I would say that both Mehr and Gulabi are amazing shades and it’s great that I have them! :-D

Hey girls, have you tried this lipstick? What do you think?

Maybelline eyeshadow duo- Swatches and Review

Good morning ladies,

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Today’s post is just a short review about one of my Maybelline duos- Grey matters

This is a duo eyeshadow containing a pair of shades along with a sponge tip applicator.

What Maybelline claims- Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow This advanced formula eye shadow glides on effortlessly with superior smoothness. Velvet-tip applicator blends without tugging or pulling. All-day crease-resistant wear. ExpertWear is a longwearing powder shadow that is crease, smudge, and streak resistant. Fade-proof color remains true throughout the wear.

Price- Rs 130

What I like about this duo-

This isa perfect duo for a light smokey eye look.

Mostly suitable for working women and teenager girls.

Very handy…can be kept anywhere.

Very decently priced.

Do not have a fall out.

The gray shade is very pretty in this duo.The gray shade is better in comparison to silver.

I love the tiny applicator.

Available in many combinations such as browns, lilacs, greens etc.

It’s not very pigmented but sufficient for a light eye makeup. The effect after applying is very pretty.

Lasting power is okay. Although i had used them without any primer and I didn’t face any problem of fading up of the shades. So if you apply them with primer, you can easily be comfortable for about 5-6 hours with them.

Here are the swatches-

In sunlight-

What I don’t like about this duo-

Both shades are not very pigmented. I have to take out the shade again and again to make them pigmented.

Pics from a look which I had done a few months back on my blog

What about Buying it again-

I already have 2-3 of these so won’t buy any more. But will surely recommend it for collage going girls and the beginners of makeup.

Rating- 3.5/5

So, what do you think about these duos of Maybelline? Please don’t compare them with any luxury brand. After all you don’t have to pay much also :-D

Mac & Mickey Contractor Gulabi lipstick- Review

This was the range of Mac which was being waited by every Indian makeup lover. Mickey contractor range is a salaam to this great makeup artist who is definitely worth of this respect.
I was waiting for this range and had told my sister 15 days ago to pickup something from this range. Saturday late afternoon I received my things- Gulabi and Mehr and now I’m writing a short review about this lovely lipstick Gulabi.

The packaging of this lipstick is not new, it’s the same like Mac’s other lipsticks. It would be great if Mac would have given it some different packaging and color.
Anyways what have we to do with the packaging? For us, everything is inside the box.
Mac Gulabi Lipstick-
Gulabi name is taken from urdu language which means like the color of Gulab(rose) and this lipstick is really like a rose. I love the name of this range’s products like Gulabi, Mehr, syahi, Sur and gana etc. I think Mickey would have taken some name ideas from Javed Akhtar or Gulzar..haha.

Gulabi is a beautiful bright fuchsia in the Amplified formula. The pigmention of this lipstick is amazing.I’m sure it’ll give my lips a pretty smooth look. Sorry readers, I can’t give a look with this lovely lippie but I promise I’ll definitely do it after Muharram. I got your lot of mails and I feel sorry that I can’t ….okay now about the lipstick. Mickey Contractor is right- this kind of color goes amazing with Indian skintones and in my opinion it’ll be perfect any kind of skin tone. The shade is pretty universal and you will remember a fresh moist Gulabi Gulab after seeing it.

Price- Rs 990
The reason I’m loving it-

The texture of this lipstick is creamy.
It’s amazingly pigmented.
Only one swipe and you can get your right shade.
It’s a very very popular shade for Indian weddings and functions.
Perfect choice for an Indian bride. As you can see this color goes along very well with every green combination lenhga and bridal sari.
I’m sure I’ll not need any lip balm before applying it.
I love the quality of this lipstick and I’ll not complain about the price. The quality is worth this price.

The swatches-

Cons-
There are no cons in the quality. The shade is little bit dark but will be very popular in any wedding function. The shade is not only for fair complexion but for every skin tone. So there is not any reason to stay away.

Finally;as I said that it resembles the color of a rose…so a pic of a beautiful rose!!

Will I purchase it again?
Ohh yes I have Mehr but I want Mocha too!
So ladies what is your opinion about this range’s lipstick. Will love to know about your opinions :-D

False eyelashes by KKCenterhk.

Hello ladies,

Hope you all had a great weekend!! But now a new week's begun and everyone has to get to work once again. Isn't it?

Anyways let's continue :) So today I'm reviewing some false eyelashes which I received from KKCenterhk. They sent me two boxes of false eyelashes and an eyelash glue which I had asked them to sent.

This is the first time that any company has sent me samples of their products and I’m really happy to receive these.

Each box contained 10 pairs of lashes. i had ordered for one box of dense lashes and the other one of natural looking lashes which were A005 and A308. I usually don’t use falsre lashes but I’m really fond of buying new kinds of these and now I’m so happy to have these. I’m sure these will last lifetime:) :)

These lashes are from a brand called ES and they contain awesome lashes. Not only lashes; but wigs, makeup stuff, gloves and many other things. I’m so glad to have received this and now I’m sure that I’ll buy things from this site only.

What I like about these lashes-

The lashes are quite soft and I think they shouldn’t be too soft also because then there is a danger of breaking or getting damaged very soon.

All the lashes are decently priced if anyone wants to buy them from the site.

The denser ones can be used to create a dramatic look while the natural can be used anytime and many won’t even get to know that you are wearing false ones! :-D

For dramatic look

For natural look

I also own a pair of Revlon eyelashes which are wonderful in terms of quality and I can compare these ones to Revlon.

THE GLUE-

They also sent me a cute lash adhesive. It’s the Zixianna Eye putti.

This glue is a dual purpose glue. It has a separate applicator along.

I really like it’s packaging!

It’s black in color and also be used as an eyeliner.

Overall I really love the quality of the lashes and the glue.

Rating- 4.75/5

Will I recommend it- Yes girls, you surely should check out some amazing collection of lashes and wigs on this site.

Will soon do some looks wearing these. Till then goodbye! Hope you enjoyed :-D

Disclosure: The items in this post were sent to me by the company for consideration. I am not affiliated with the company nor am I being paid to write this post. These are my own honest views about the product.

To my faithful followers -

Greetings everyone,

I have not forgotten you. I had quite a lengthy article typed up & was almost ready to post it when my computer crashed & everything was lost. So, I am having to rebuild it from scratch.

But, I do have some articles for you to read. As you know, Dr. Wakefield has been in the news quite a bit recently. That he was a fraud & there is no link to autism from vaccines. But the publicity about Dr. Wakefield is covering other news regarding that very topic. Several studies have come to light that there is a link & that even the CDC has CONFIRMED Dr. Wakefields studies. This is HUGE!!!

Here are a couple of stories to read, I hope to have the big article that I promised earlier this month completed by the weekend.

Latest research links autism to vaccines

http://www.naturalnews.com/031056_autism_vaccines.html

CDC-sponsored MMR study supports Wakefield’s findings

http://www.jabs.org.uk/pages/yazbak%20on%20cdc%20study.pdf

The 2nd link is a pdf file, so be sure you have adobe on your computer.

I must be getting too close for Satans liking. With my computer crashing & outside forces are trying to shut my blog down. I can't go into specifics right now. Please pray that this blog can continue. I'm really enjoying my time I put into this. I have decided to major in English with a minor in Literature at the college I'm currently attending. With these degrees I will be able to do free lance writing, hopefully in the same field as I am right now.

Stay safe & warm my friends,

Lori

Beauty face masks for winters

Hi ladies,

It seems as though the winters are retreating from the country. Yes, many places are experiencing a rather cool climate and not a cold one although not my city. It’s still the same as it was a month back…shivering winters!

So how is the weather at your places?

Today I wanted to talk about some skin treatments. What do you do with you skin in winter? I know that it’s very difficult to take care of your skin in this chilled weather but to save your skin from this brute season, you should be more careful guys.

One of the oldest forms of beauty treatments is the application of masks for face or body. History is full of instances of woman making use of various natural and organic substances to preserve the youth and beauty of their skin and hair.

Mask have a most stimulating effect, improving blood circulation, toning the muscles, maintaining skin elasticity and porcelaining Tough time , these beauty treatments have not only survived, but have been improved upon and their values have been recognized and acknowledged.

In fact, the modern woman has the advantage of specialized knowledge. She can understand the demands of her own skin and hair and learn to treat it accordingly.

Every woman can even help herself to the beauty aids that exist her own home……on her kitchen shelf.

Some beauty masks for oily skin-

Egg- honey mask -

(All images have been taken from Google)

This mask is very effective for oily skin and very easy to prepare.

Mix a teaspoon of honey with one egg white and apply thickly on the face and neck. Leave for seven to ten minutes and wash off.

Yeast mask-

Mix one teaspoon yeast, one teaspoon suger and half a cup of warm milk. cover and keep in a warm place. When it ferments then use it as a mask.

Some beauty masks for dry skin-

You all know that dry skin becomes a problem in winters and apart from your normal skincare routine, you can take much care of your skin with the help of these beauty masks.

Olive oil mask-

This mask is very nice for dry skin. you can see the difference in your skin after some days.

Take one tablespoon olive oil and mix with two tablespoon of fresh cream. Leave it on the face for 10 minute. remove with cotton wool pads soaked in warm water.

Honey- Orange juice mask-

Fullers earth

Take on table spoon honey, 15 drops of orange juice, 1 tbsp fullers earth and 1 tbsp rose water.

Mix well and apply on face. wash off after 10 minutes.

These masks can be made in your own kitchen and the effects will be amazing. I know it’s difficult for some ladies especially working women to get few hours for their own beauty treatments but i’ll tell them, don’t ignore yourself, take out some time from your responsibilities, see your face in the mirror and listen what it says. It’s your life so it’s your own right to take out some time for yourself; weather it is only on Sundays.Isn’t it?
