More false eyelashes from KKcenterHK & a summery eye makeup

Hey beauties,

Today I'm here with some more lashes which were sent by Maggie from KKcenterHK . In my earlier I had reviewed about their ES brand lashes but today I’m writing about their Ardell and Andrea false eye lashes. KKcenterHK has countless varieties of eye lashes, you can find so many different types of lashes & other stuff on their website which you can’t even imagine…anyways I’m not an ardent eye lashes junkie but some lashes really attract me.

Ardell Fashion Lashes




Ardell Fashion lashes are made from sterilized, 100% human hair. These sturdy strip lashes are reusable and easy-to-apply. Each package comes in a reusable box. Fashion Lashes come in 29 different styles (in black or brown) & are sure to have the style that suits you.

Ardell Eyelashes

These are black in shade. I preferred the no 107 and I really love it.

In the mirror of my own experience

Mostly I have used Revlon eye lashes but after that I tried some ES brand lashes and I satisfied with its quality. it was first time when I tried some Ardell lashes. When I first applied it I was surprised to see that how easily and quickly it got fixed on the lash line.I really love to see the effect of these lashes on my eyes. The best thing is that they are so light weight. You can't feel anything odd after wearing it. The band of these lashes is so thin in comparison to the ES brand thick bands so that it blends with my natural eye lashes so easily.

I’ve never had a problem with them and they are durable. Ardell are my favorite false eyelash brand after Revlon. It’s affordable and there are so many different lashes to choose from.

Andrea ModLash

The second which I chose was Andrea Modlash false lashes. These are long in length and give some dramatic effect to the eyes.

In the mirror of my own experience

This was the first time I had tried Andrea lashes. It got applied so quickly without any difficulties. It’s also very light weight. I can compare it with Ardell lashes without any hesitation. The quality is almost the same for both the lashes but one problem which I faced with both lashes are changing their original shape only after one washing. I washed them with a very mild baby shampoo and dried with a soft towel but I couldn’t get their real shape and that was so disappointing with both of lashes. I don’t know this problem is common or not but it's a very disappointing factor common for both, Ardell as well as Andrea.

Now concluding from both here are the good points, bad points, rating etc:

Good points

They are very light weight.

They stay on for a long shape.

Have perfect length and the shape is ideal for my eyes.

Available in different designs and shape.

Looks natural & makes the eyes wider.

Never feel itchy and odd after wearing it .

I love their thin band which makes them so easy to apply.

The price is really very reasonable. Everyone can afford it easily.

Bad points

As I have already mentioned above, they becomes dis shaped only after the first wash. Any solution to this problem???

I didn't find glue with any of the lashes so I have to to use my own glue.

You can try them but should be very careful because they will soon lose their original shape.

KKcenterHK ES handmade luxuriant False Lashes- Review, EOTDs

Hey lovelies,

Today I’m going to review another lovely product which I was sent from KKcenterHK about 2 month ago. I've used it many times but couldn’t write its review…so bad. I have done many eye makeup looks using this & finally today is the day.

KKcenterHK: ES HandMade Ten Pairs Slant Luxuriant False Eyelashes- A244

I was really excited to try on these lashes as they looked so gorgeous & were in a perfect shape...the shape that I require in lashes. Although they look too dramatic but on applying them you'll realize the truth of the matter i.e. they look very gorgeous & wearable! The fact that they are not too dense makes them something that everyone would like to have in their falsies collection. They are also very easy to apply & light weight as well.Besides these qualities, it is also very decently priced & you get 10 pairs of this in just $11.14 which is something worth buying.

But there were some negative points as well which i discovered in these lashes. Firstly, the bands a a bit thick & stiff which makes application for the first time slightly difficult. But after that if you wash then & reapply them then this problem can be solved. Secondly, you won't get a glue along so do arrange for a separate one! Thirdly, like all ES lashes are, you don't get a separate case for them which might make maintainance a problem so you have to be careful.

Unlike the Ardell Runway lashes, these ones do not lose their shape after washing which is the best point in them. I'm very happy by this fact as you'll love the shape they are in 7 they won't get destroyed easily!

Finally...

Finally I would repeat what I've already said that these lashes are totally worth buying & should be a must have in one's lashes collection!!!

Now here I've done two makeup looks in which I've used these ES A244 false lashes...hope you like them!!

Colorful Eye Makeup Tutorial using Manly eyeshadow palette

Manly 80 colors Eyeshadow Palette by KKcenterHK- For the fun of playing with colors!!

When I started this blog, I was a fond of different eye shadows, but i still kept very few eye shadow trios & quads in my makeup box because despite of being a makeup lover I didn’t do much experiment on my eyes. I had been a junkie of lip colors those days but after starting this blog I bought lots of eye shadow palettes and did many experiments on my eyes. I’m happy that my readers loved those experiments of colors. When KKcenterHK offered me to do some reviews of Manly palette I chose their 48 colors palette but they requested me to do for the 80 colors manly eyeshadow palette, I agreed for that but I thought many times that what would I do with a lot of colors LOL, hey I’m not a makeup artist or something like that…but was really excited to see a lot of colors. Now I have this lovely palette and today I’m here to review this & share my experience with you!

Packaging

I should appreciate KKcenterHK for sending me this palette so safely without any damage. It was wrapped very securely by them with many covers of bubble wrap. I opened the box very excitedly. After removing a bundle of bubble wrap, I saw another bubble wrap cover over the box. Now this is what i call SAFETY!!

Now about the Manly palette packaging…I would like to say that it’s classy and beautiful. In a white Manly packet a slim bright black case comes which is so pretty. After opening the case I got there were two separate palettes with 40 colors each in short, they were double stacked There was also a plastic film to cover each palette. Beside this, there is also a small purple ribbon at the corner of the palette kept under to lift it.

Overall I can say that I’m really impressed by the packaging

Shades

There is an extensive selection & a great mixture of both matte and shimmery colors. The colors in the palette aren't anything that can make you over excited. There are no strange and new colors that I've never seen ever but if you are looking to build your basic color collection, this is great.

Upper palette

If I talk about the colors, they are impressive especially in the shimmers. Every colors are highly pigmented and silky, very nice in blending. But I can’t say the same thing about the matte colors which I found seem to usually be chalky and difficult to blend. Most of matte colors are not pigmented. I had to apply again and again for swatching on my hands. I felt they are quit powdery and after some times they lost their colors and faded so without any primer you’ll be disappoint after applying the matt colors.

The pots of colors quite small but if you have a lot of colors you shouldn’t worry about the size.

In the mirror of my own experience

I love the selection of colors. Every basic color which you need is available in this palette.

They come with basic white and black, a shimmer and matte version of each. The black and silver are fantastic for smoky eye makeup. Some colors like red, turquoise and some shades of oranges are quite harder to find in a common palettes. I love the matte brown shades because it’ll be useful for define my brows. Gold and orangish gold colors are really pretty & unique. But this palette has a lot of yellows and green shades which I don’t like. I’m unable to understand why they keep so many shades of the same color & that too yellow? I don’t think one needs yellow shadows much in real life...isn't it?

Final thoughts

Finally I love this palette. If you see the price tag, you’ll not mind the weakness of some matte colors. If we ignore lot of yellows and greens, the variety of colors are great. You don’t need to look for any other palette when you sit for playing with the colors. I don’t say that it’s an ideal palette for a makeup artist or professionals but for beginners, it's a great one at such a low cost!!

Recommendation

I really recommend this palette to all my readers. All the shimmery colors are highly pigmented and buttery silky. You don’t need even need to apply a primer before applying them but for the matte colors, you really need a good base or primer.

So sorry for this late post. I was extremely busy these days because of the arrival of some guests & also some problem in the internet connection . But I would apologize to my lovely readers who had sent me many mails for writing new posts. Now your wait is over and finally I’m back :D

Today I’m reviewing two things which have been sent to me by KKcenterHK which include A QV marbleized eyeshadow & a pair of Ardell eyelashes.

QV Shimmer marbleized Eye Shadow-Cool Color

It’s a baked eye shadow trio with soft shimmers.

What it claims

Suitable for both day and night makeup can be used party or professional makeup, 100% new.

Packaging

The packaging is cute. It reminds me of the Borjous blushes’ packaging. It’s a round golden case with a transparent lid.

Shades

There are three shades in this trio. All are cool and soft shades for summers.

The first one is baby pink with light shimmers. It’s quite pigmented and so girly.

The second one is soft purple. Very nice for summer wears. It’s pigmented too.

The third shade is light blue. You may even call it turquoise. With light shimmers this shade is so summery and pigmented.

Pigmentation

When I first touched this baked eyeshadow, I was not very impressed because in the first touch I felt that they were not much pigmented but next time when I was going to do the swatches, I realized its pigmentation. After using them on my eyes, I really felt its quality. All shades are intensive and beautiful. I used them without any primer and they not only show up clearly on my eyes but also looks cool. There is no fall out at all.

Good points

All shades are intensive and soft. They are not much shimmery. Easily can be used with cotton summer wears.

Some eye shadows are highly pigmented but too much fall out becomes a headache sometimes. I won’t say that this one is highly pigmented but the shades can be applied very easily and clearly be noticed. No fall out makes application so comfortable.

The packaging is cute and handy. Very light weight. Easily can carried out in your purse.

The color selection is good. All shades are different from others and very nice for summer dresses.

The qualities of all shades are equal.

The girls who don’t like much shimmers are also would love this trio because the shimmers would not show much.

Office going ladies can use it very comfortably.

Around 10-12 trios are available at KKcenterHK so you can choose your favorite one!

Very decently priced.

The swatches:

Bad points

There is no applicator provided with this trio. If you use your own eye makeup brushes, you will not care of this but for those who use the applicators will be disappointed.

No mirror with it so you’ll have to use your own mirror while applying the shadows.

The shades are intensive but not highly pigmented.

Final thoughts

Finally I love this baked eye shadow trio. All shades in this trio are not only beautiful but intensive and noticeable. I can apply them on my casual wears and party wear as well. The shade selection is lovely and cool. On seeing its quality it’s absolutely a steal.

Recommendation

I surely recommend it to all my readers. In my opinion you should surely try it once.

Ardell Runway eye lashes

It’s a pair of natural false eye lashes. It’s from their Make-up Artist Collection

What it claims

100% human hair, poils naturels a 100%, 100% cabello human

In the mirror of my own experience

I don’t like very thick and dramatic eye lashes. I always love to use such lashes which can be easily mixed with my own natural lashes. When I used this Runway lashes at first time, it looked lovely and natural. I applied them very easily and after one coat of mascara it felt like a part of my natural lashes.It looked so natural and light weight that after some time I almost forgot that I was wearing false eyelashes.

Good Points

These lashes are available in different designs as per one needs.

Very light weight and stays on long .
The lash band is really thin and blends well with the eyelashes. They feel like your own natural ones.
They have perfect length and shape. Different shapes for different eyes.
Looks so natural and perfect for my eyes. it gives an innocent look to my eyes.

Bad points

I don't like its packaging. A separate case keeps the lashes safe.
They didn't send me any glue with it so I have to use my own glue from KKcenterHK.
After washing them slightly their original shape were destroyed which was very disappointing.

Final thoughts

Finally I'm not satisfied with these lashes due to their destroyed shape after washing. I washed it very carefully with a mild shampoo and dried it in a soft towel for a while but i couldn't get it natural shape again. Can anyone tell me its reason? Is it my mistake in washing? Plz suggest me your ways of washing lashes.

Recommendation

In this situation, I don't want to recommend it to my readers. In comparison to ES falsies, these are not at all impressive.

There are some eye looks with both product from KKcenterHK in which I have used pink and light blue shade on my lids. I have applied Ardell Runway eye lashes. Hope you like it.
