Revlon Illuminance Creme eyeshadow- review, Swatches and photos

Good evening ladies,

Hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying the beautiful spring :-D Anyways let’s talk about today’s post which is about Revlon Illuminance Creme shadow.

Most of the products that I use are from Revlon only coz I really love their quality and they are easily affordable too.

It was around 3-4 months back when I got this cream eye shadow palette from Revlon- Copper coast.

What is it?

It’s an eyeshadow quad with four cream eye shadows which comes in a transparent lid palette.

What it claims?

Ophthalmologist tested, it blends seamlessly for limitless effects, luminous finish brightens up eyes, weightless color glides on smoothly and easily with fingertips, fragrance-free, irritant-free, and suitable for contact lens wearers.

Price-Rs 485

My experience-

I haven’t used much of cream eye shadows so when heard of these from Revlon I went to get one to give it a try. It’s available in 10-12 shades but these caught my eye first and I bought it in Copper coast. Another reason was that I had also got a new dress and this one matches it perfectly. Till now I’ve used it only 2-3 times and I can say that it’s not a bad product but has some cons too which I’ve mentioned below.

This quad contains four shades- dark brown, orangish brown, golden and dull white.

Packaging-

It comes in a container with a transparent lid. Closes with a click but opens with a bit of difficulty (at least that’s the case with me)

What I like about these shadows ?-

They are nicely pigmented.

The shades in this palette are both light and dark with shimmers.

They are full of shimmers and give a dazzling look to the eyes.

It blends well and looks beautiful on the eyes.

Does not feel heavy on the eyelids and the texture is very smooth and creamy.

You can also use the white one as a base sometimes.

The case is very handy and compact.

The shades in all the palettes are very pretty.

Both light and dark shades available in each palette and you can create different looks using these.

Product is worth the price.

Here are the swatches-

What I don’t like about these shadows-

It creases after sometime which does not look good on the eyelids.

No applicator provided.

I don’t like the packaging coz I had expected it to be in a beautiful case with a mirror and applicator but the transparent lid is not at all impressive and it sometimes even separates out.

As many people say that it is not suitable for oily eyelids.

But overall I can say that it is quite an impressive product & I would like to try out some other shades too.

Rating- :D :D :D :D /5

Will I repurchase it- Maybe….I would like to try out Black Magic and Electric pop.

Will I recommend it- Yes, if you are a fan of Revlon and cream eye shadows you should try it out, but not suitable for oily eyelids.

So this was today’s review about Revlon Illuminance crème eyeshadows. Hope you like it :-D Have you tried any of the shades from Revlon’s cream eyeshadows….did you like it??

My new Facebook Fanpage is here. It’ll be great to see you joining it !!

Love Alpha eyeshadow palette-Swatches

Hi lovely ladies

Today I’m going to show you the swatches of Love Alpha palettes. I know after seeing any palette we always want to see their shades’ swatches and now I’m here with the swatches of all shades.

LOVE ALPHA EYE SHADOW- M45 -02-

1-This shade is blackish green with light but noticeable shimmers.

I can use it for defining my outer corner.

2- This is redish maroon and very lovely. I can apply it oall over my lids and mix with any other light shades as well.

3- This one is very light brown and a bit of peachy in it. You can use it all over the lid or just as a highlighter..

4- This is my favorite shade from this palette. It is a very pretty tea rose pink shade and very girly. I think every girl likes this shade.

5- This is sparkling white and a very decent lovely color. It can be used on the brow bones for highlighting them.

As I had already told that the swatches are without any base or primer. So these are the swatches of this palette.

In sunlight-

Here are the swatches of the second palette. Top row first-

LOVE ALPHAM176-B-

Top row, L-R

1. A lovely unique shade- mixture of golden and silver with a pearly finish.

2. The perfect golden shade

4. Dark brown shade

Second row L-R

1. A lovely green with a mix of golden( I find it the most unique shade of the palette)

2. Dark green

3. Light coppery shade with very few shimmers(quite similar to the 4th one of the first row just a bit more light)

4. Very dark brown

Blush shades-

Revlon Colorstay eye liner- review, swatches, photos

I love to apply eyeliner on my eyes but I always hesitated to use pencil eyeliners because I used to think that it doesn’t show much on my eyes but I applied them on my waterline. When I bought Revlon Colorstay eyeliners I learned how to make my eyes attractive without liquid eyeliner. I bought in two shades first in black and other in gray. It’s available in 8 different shades

.

Today I’m writing about Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in Gray.

The shade-

The color is pretty much exactly the color of the cap: A dark gray with a bit of metallic sheen.
My experience-

I’m not fond of applying colorful eyeliners on my eyes. I’m very simple person in my real life. This eyeliner is perfect for me because the color of this is very natural gray and the metallic sheen doesn’t show after applying on the eyes so it does a very good job of defining my eyes.

My eye’s color is light brown so metallic gray shade gives a pretty effect on my eyes. I can go anywhere applying only two swipes of this on my eyes and it can define the eyes very well. Sometimes I have even applied black one on the top and this one at the bottom and I have got a very soft look which I love.

The tip

Some points why I love this eyeliner-

I love the packaging, very light weight very cute in handling.

It’s much pigmented. Gray is usually a light shade but it shows clearly on my eyes.

I love staying power of this eyeliner. I can forget about it after applying because it’ll stay even on my waterline all day. I don’t have any issues with smudging. The pencil is creamy, so you can smudge it, but work quickly because it sets quickly.

I think this is the only eyeliner that stays even when applied on my waterlines.

It doesn’t break easily. Defines my eyes very quickly.

The price seems reasonable after using this magical liner.

Price- I think it was somewhere around Rs 300- 450. Sorry :(

The swatches-

Have a closer look-

Some points why I don’t love this eyeliner-

I have heard that over time these pencils dry and become hard and brittle making it impossible to apply. I don’t know till now about this fact because right now it’s perfect eyeliner for me.

One complains about the cap. I think if the cap clicked on better/tighter it would have helped more.

Will I purchase it again?

Sure I’m going to buy a brown one too.

Will I recommend this eyeliner?

Yes, if you are a fan of pencil eyeliners, you should definitely try it.

Rating of this eyeliner- 4.50/5

So pretty girls, if you have used this cute and lovely eyeliner, share your opinions with me. It’ll be a very nice experience. Thanks :-D

Mac Dazzle lipstick( Hellraiser)- Review

Hi cuties, hope you all are fine.

It is said that when you do something wrong once, you don’t stop there, you rewind your fault sometimes again & again…hey don’t you worry girls there is nothing anything serious, I’m just kidding Lol!:-)
I’m talking about me purchasing Mac once again and this time MAC Dazzle Lipstick in Hellraiser, was my choice. I can’t say that this is my best lipstick but it’s special because this is my second/first Mac lipstick( first one I got it about 5 years ago so let’s consider this the first one in my current collection).

This lipstick is little bit different from my other lippies. It has shimmers but these shimmer will not make me loud. It gives you a glossy effect with multi colored sparkle which is so beautiful. I really love the multi-coloured sparkles in the pearlised lavender base.

Purple and peach are my favorite shades after pink so these shades also attract me.
This is especially for the special occasion because you can’t wear it for daily use dresses.

MAC Dazzle Hellraiser Lipstick

It comes in a very cute packaging as all Mac lippies. The quality is amazing of this lipstick. It is a light lavander colour with blue, golden and silver shimmers, which look very beautiful on the hand when swatched and no doubt they can make your lips beautiful and special.

Price- Rs 990 ( $12 approx.)
Why this lippie attracts you-

Mac has made it really very different and pretty, not only the shades are amazing in this range but also the quality of lipstick is fabulous.

It is very pigmented despite of its shimmers.

The shimmers make your lips beautiful not gritty.

You don’t feel awkward after wearing this lipstick with shimmer because it doesn’t make your lips loud.

Blending power of this lipstick is amazing.

You don’t need any lip balm before applying it and not any gloss after it.

It is glossy, but not like a lip gloss.

It’ll be very pretty for festival season and will go very nicely with Indian wears.

Here are the swatches-

A close up-

Why you should stay away-

First big con is the price. I have already written about it.

You can’t wear it with daily wear so it’ll be consumed less.

But if you want to look special on any special occasion, you can try it. Hey
girls, most of you must have used it already so I really want to know your opinion that I have bought something good or not?
Your positive opinion will give me some satisfaction. Have a great week

Maybelline seashore frost eyeshadow- Review & Swatch

Hi lovelies,

So what's going on...Yee very happy and exited about the CWG being held in New Delhi this year....I'll surely go there and is anyone else also going.....Hope we'll meet each other!!He He!

Anyways yesterday i went to shop a lil(yeah not much) and I got two three things out of which one was a Maybelline eyeshadow set- Seashore frosts shades.

It consists of four shades plus two applicators. I've got two three more Maybelline shadows which weren't that nice so I hesitated a little before buying this one...But the shades attracted me so I did get it. This is kind of a full eye makeup set...OK let's go on.

1. The first one is meant for the lid and. It is blue with a slight tinch of purple in it. I really like this shade coz it's quite pigmented and shows up well. You can get a subtle look on using this. It's good so i would give it a like.

2. The second one is for the crease, pinkish purple or better say mauve in color. Not as pigmented as the first one. Applying this along with the blue one gives a casual look. I like this color..Dull purple. So this deserves a like and even a bit of dislike.

3. The third one meant for the brow bone is not shimmery but matte in nature. Baby pink in color,it is not as pigmented as the rest and I literally have to dig it out a little to show it up.....Applying these three you get a classic look. Sounds interesting!!! I don't like it much so in my opinion it gets a dislike.

4. This last one is a sea green shade and I love this one as it is nicely pigmented, shows up, shimmery.....So a like. Applying all these in their respective places you get a dramatic look...Hmm let's try that too.

The two applicators are comfortable to use.

I love the packaging.

It cost me only Rs 240($5.25 approx.) which is very reasonable coz the shades in it are the ones which we quite often require.

here are the swatches( My silly camera is not working well so the shades are looking very dull which they are not)

So overall this set did not disappoint me and I'm really eager to try on the looks which I'll surely share with you guys....Ah love this world of blogging!!!

So ladies has anyone else also tried this....If yes which other shades do you have???Which shades out of these do you like or dislike??? Take care and goodbye for now.
