Pond's Daily Face wash- Review

Hi ladies,
Hope everyone is having a great week.
Few weeks before I went to buy a bottle of Pond’s cold cream becoz it has been helping me a lot these winters. According to the offer we got a Pond’s Face wash free with the cold cream.

Pond’s Daily Face Wash with Active Cleansing System Review-

What it claims-

Pond’s Daily Face Wash the first step in facial care for soft, smooth skin. For clean and soft skin that glows suitable for all skin-types.

How it works:

Thoroughly cleanses without leaving slippery feeling on skin.

Cleans skin 100% soap free formula with rich lather penetrates and removes deep rooted dirt, leaving your skin cleaner and smoother.

Gentle on skin. Active Cleansing System cleans gently and cares for your skin better than soap.

Results: Clean, soft, glowing skin.

See the picture below for other details-

My experience-

I’ve used many face washes like Neutrogena, VLCC, Pears, Himalaya, Fab India etc in which many like VLCC, Himalaya, Fabindia face washes are really good. But some like Pears make my skin a bit dry after washing. But this one makes my skin feel soft and moisturizing.

The best thing is that even if I leave my skin without applying any moisturizer after washing for a while it will not dry up the skin.

Mild and makes the skin soft.

Very decently priced.

I like the packaging…looks very cute :-D

Can be used by normal, dry and combination skin type people.

Cons-

Although this product claims that it can be used by oily skinned people also but likely they should not use it.

It stings if enters the eyes.

Rating- 4/5

Will I repurchase it- Yes.

So this was my experience and views about this product. Have you used this? Did you like it?

Finally even I got it....Mac Venomous Villains...

I haven't been crazy about any brand so far. The thing is that which ever product attracts me no matter which brand it is of....I buy it( of course only of a good brand). In my makeup collection you will never find a huuge number of products of the same brand. They consist of mixed ones. The same goes for Mac cosmetics too. I've read a lot of reviews about the cosmetics of this brand but never wanted to buy much things because I think if one can find the same shade in Revlon or Maybelline....then why search for it in Mac. So this was my view about choosing brands and products.

My cousins and friends are almost crazy about Mac. Since the last few weeks I found that my cousin Raniya is really fascinated about Mac's Venomous Villains collection. She herself has got some lipsticks, shadows and a blush too.She insisted me to try something out of this, and because of her excitement I decided to check out this beauty powder because I've heard a lot about this from my Indian bloggers too. As it is not available in my city I told her to send it and somehow she got this as there were very less left. I received it day before yesterday and I'm very excited to try it out after Muharram.

Mac Venomous Villains Collection- Oh So Fair Beauty Powder

Price-
Rs 1500

I don't like very dark shades on my face so I searched and decided to buy this shade.

I'll be lair if I say that I was not satisfied.

This can be used as a blush which is really one of the best ones I've tried up till now.

The shade is purplish pink and would suit almost all skin tones.

It gives a satiny dewy finish to your cheeks . I bought this powder as a blush purpose and it's really lovely!!!

It is greatly buildable and highly pigmented.

As you can read other reviews or for the people who have tried it on all say that it is long lasting too.....so that's great.

Packaging is really cute.

Here are the swatches( in sunlight)-

A closer look-

What I don't like-

The price is pretty high. So not good for economic purpose and I'm sure it will be very difficult for average girls who love makeup, to afford it.
But don't worry girls we have many other blushes too in the market....check out those:)

Another disadvantage is that after trying this I'm forced to try other Mac products too....hope it doesn't get too heavy on my wallet...he he!!!

So overall I'm highly satisfied with this product.

Rating- 4.25/5

Have you tried it? What do you think?

Jovees moisturizer- Review

Happy 2011 ladies,

Whenever new year comes, we have lot of hopes and wishes. All hopes and wishes which couldn't fulfill in the previous years. We never know that this would happen or not but you know that every rising morning brings a new hope for us . If you ask about my wishes then I'll say that a peaceful world where there will be no place of war and violence, where every person will be at the same position, no difference between the rich and the poor, a world where every faces have a true smile, every country whether big or small, developed or developing has its own freedom. Love and passion will be everywhere. This are my hopes and wishes from this new year.

Anyways ladies, today I'm reviewing Jovees Moisturizer. I had not heard a lot about this brand but some days ago my cousin who had come to visit me had this moisturizer and she is very happy with this one. I asked her about the quality and she told a lot of good things about this but the main thing was that this product is mainly meant for people with combination skin. This is a good option for this skin type girls.

What it claims: Jovees Shea Butter Moisturiser this hydrating moisturizer with anti oxidant properties contains a variety of botanical and fruit extracts, which protect the skin against dehydration and counteracts deficiency of essential moisture by supporting the skin's ability to retain moisture.

Active Ingredients
- Shea Butter, Apple Juice, Grape Seed Extract, Sandal Extract, Peach Extract.
Contents
- 120 gms.
Price- Around Rs 135- 155

What I like in this product:

It gets absorbed into the skin quickly.

Does not dry out the skin or make it sticky.

Gives a nice fresh effect to the skin.

Has a nice mild fragrance.

It has long lasting effect on the skin and makes its soft.

Can be applied under make-up and you'll not have any problem after applying it.

The tube packaging is good enough as we don't have much trouble in taking it out.

Quite a low price but the product is worthy enough.

Dislikes-

People with very dry skin won't find it very effective but with normal and combination skin will surely have no troubles with it.

I've always been using Shamoist but after my sis' experience and me also trying it a bit I'm happy with this product.

Will I recommend it-
Yes, keeping your skin type in mind you can give it a try.

So ladies hope this review helps and have a great week!!!

WHICH FAIRNESS CREAM WOULD YOU PREFER......

Hi ladies,

I hope you guys would have enjoyed the weekend. Commonwealth Games has started and India has already won three four golds and two three silvers and three bronze too. We have also won the first test cricket against Australia so there are a lot of good news and hope this will go on.

So lets talk about today's post. Yesterday my neighbor Kiran consulted me to suggest her about any good fairness cream. She had been using the Ponds white beauty cream before and she was not satisfied with it. She has an oily and dark skin with lot of dark spots and blemishes. She admitted that before using this cream her skin was in worse condition and after using two and three bottles, she has got some difference in her skin but it's the human nature that wants more and more.

I learned Kiran’s experience about this product-

This comes in a nice bottle (She had the small sized one)

It’s not sticky at all so very nice for oily and combination skins.

She loves its nice smell.

She realized some good effects after using this and it was showing very clear on her face so it can be honestly said that she hasn't wasted her money.

Some minus points on this product-

It gives a dry effect after applying on the face so it’s not for dry skin at all.

Kiran couldn't completely get rid of her dark spots and blemishes so that is the other minus point.

I suggested another fairness cream: Olay natural white which I bought for a try but got it to be very nice for my skin.

What the product claims-

It’s formula with triple nutrient system-vitamins B3,pro 85 & E nourish your skin to reduce the appearance of dark spots and dullness for a healthy-looking natural fairness that glows.

It has light & non greasy texture that absorbs easily to help nourish your skin with nutrients.

It also contains sunscreen ingredients that helps protect skin from harmful UV rays.

Direction of use-

Use twice a day on a clean face and neck.

My own experience with this product-

I agree that I have a fair skin and never have had any dark spots but a couple of months ago, I found some brown spots on my forehead and it had made me restless. After some research with magazines and internet I decided to buy this one and thankfully can say that I’m not disappointed at all.

What I like-

I started with the trial pack which was in a cute tube.

The packaging of this product is quite comfortable and nice.

I love its light smell.

It feels little bit greasy when we apply it but after 2-3 minutes it’s not greasy at all.

It makes my skin smooth and soft.

It’s really effective and I have clearly seen the difference in my skin after almost half a tube.

My brown spots are completely gone.

I think the cost is worth the effect of this cream: Rs 99 for 20 gm tube.

I can’t say about the fairness claim honestly, I think Kiran will tell about it.

No dislikes.( My own experience)

But yes I’m not too sure how it will work for too much oily skin. But as it is not greasy at all so it is good for oily skin also.

Will I purchase it again?

I think yes…whenever I’ll need to.

So ladies guess even you should try this cream and share your honest views about it.

Lakme Face Magic Daily Wear Souffle- Review

Hi ladies

Hope everyone is doing well. Very busy these days!! Anyways, weekend has arrived once again and I'm gonna rest for two days to shake off all my weariness. Terrible weather going on here. Rain Rain and only rain!!! Haven't seen a ray of sunlight since the past 2-3 days. But rains are also fun. Isn't it??

Today's review is all about Lakme Face Magic:Daily Wear Souffle. I read about this product in a magazine. It was for getting a dewy kind of look. I found it quite interesting and bought it about 3 months ago.

WHAT I LIKE:

If I'm in a great hurry this is easy to use and works like a cream+compact+liquid foundation.

Also contains bit of moisturizer.

The bottle is cute.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:

My purpose was not fulfilled. It isn't that effective (For me). One of my friends also used it and she found it quite nice.

The color is too dark for my complexion. Gives sought of a tanned look.

When I used it for the first time it formed patchy spots on my skin.

It was only for Rs 99. Really inexpensive??

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN?? Hmmmmm....I'll have to think. Most probably NO.

So ladies this was all about Lakme Face Magic. Overall I didn't like it that much but maybe you should give it a try. Has anyone of you used it? If yes....don't hesitate to share your views. Hope it works for you. Enjoy the weekend guys!!
